Monsanto “W1” Parking Garage

ABNA was responsible for overall project management including surveying, geotechnical support, structural and civil engineering design, inspection and materials testing services for the construction of a parking structure at the east Creve Coeur Monsanto Campus. The improvements consisted of the removal of an asphalt-paved parking with a 160 car capacity and the construction of a parking structure including a ground floor and two elevated floor levels to an increased parking capacity of 414 cars. The design incorporated the analysis and design of the existing enclosed sanitary and storm sewer systems; the design of an oil/water separator and sand filter to meet BMP requirements per MSD standards; and evaluation of feasible solutions for the existing detention basin originally built in the early 60’s.
