July 2011 LaWanda Jones was selected to lead the Public Affairs Committee for the Engineers Club of St. Louis.  As the new Chair, LaWanda will be responsible for providing the membership with the opportunity to learn more about engineering-related issues within the St. Louis area.  LaWanda says of this appointment, "I am excited about meeting this year’s goals to share enlightening issues which uphold the vision for our Club to be the Center of the St. Louis Engineering Community.  To this end she plans to organize speaker forums, additional newsletter articles and possibly roundtable discussions.
