On April 28th at 10:15 am ABNA will participate in the 2011 Great Central U.S. ShakeOut. 2011 is the first year of The Great Central US ShakeOut, a drill designed to educate the public about how to protect themselves during a large earthquake, and how to get prepared. It will be the largest earthquake drill to ever take place in the Central US.

More than 70 employees at ABNA’s St. Louis and Chicago offices will participate in the Great Central ShakeOut, practicing Drop, Cover, and Hold On and other aspects of emergency preparedness.  ABNA’s Construction Services Manager Raymond E. Bailey PE, RG, PhD is organizing our participation in the ShakeOut. Ray is a member of the Missouri Seismic Safety Commission; which along with other state and federal agencies provides a program to help the state respond to a major earthquake either in Missouri, or affecting Missouri.
